You must order the service at least 24 hours before departure to transport pets. The weight of the pet with the container should not exceed 10 kg. The maximum height of the container is 20 cm. Only one pet per person and row may fly on the plane unless they belong to the same family group.
Flying with pets on AviancaAn infant is a child under the age of two years. Avianca Airlines are not allowed to carry children less than ten days old. Infants may fly without a seat on the plane. Children older than two years old must have a seat. If a child travels on a children's ticket, they are entitled to our in-flight meals and baggage allowance specified in the regulations. An adult may fly with a maximum of two infants under two years of age. One of the infants will sit on the adult's lap, while the other will pay the child's fare and travel in a separate seat.
