AirAsia X FAQs

Find quick answers to the most common questions about flying with AirAsia X.

Do AirAsia X D7 Low Fare and Premium Flatbed include the same checked baggage?

No. The official fare comparison lists checked baggage as paid for Low Fare and 40 kg included for Premium Flatbed. Check the actual fare purchased; the flatbed allowance does not apply to an ordinary low fare.

Is a D7 baggage fee quoted for the whole return journey?

No. The D7 schedule labels checked-baggage fees per passenger per sector and presents one-way direct-flight pricing. Purchase stage, route and travel period may affect the price; one listed fee is not a complete return-trip total.

What standard cabin-baggage allowance is described in AirAsia X D7’s published conditions?

The published conditions describe one cabin bag up to 56 × 36 × 23 cm and one small bag up to 40 × 30 × 10 cm, with a combined 7 kg limit. Check any purchased add-on separately.

Can one checked bag on AirAsia X D7 weigh more than 32 kg?

The published D7 conditions set a 32 kg maximum for an individual checked item, with a separate exception for mobility equipment. Buying more total baggage weight does not remove the per-item limit.

Should valuables and passports be packed in AirAsia X D7 checked baggage?

D7’s published conditions advise against checking valuables, fragile goods, passports and identification documents. Keep essential documents and permitted valuables with you, subject to cabin-baggage and security limits.
