What cabin baggage is included with LEAV, and is a large bag automatic?
All guests have a small 40 × 30 × 25 cm, 5 kg bag. A large 55 × 40 × 20 cm, 8 kg bag depends on the fare or purchased services and may need adding.
When is LEAV’s deadline for adding large cabin or checked baggage?
Add it through Manage Booking or the Service Centre no later than four hours before departure. Large cabin-bag availability is limited, so book early.
How do I book a cabin seat for an oversized instrument on LEAV?
Contact the Service Centre at least 72 hours before departure. Normal cabin-baggage instruments must fit 55 × 40 × 20 cm and weigh no more than 8 kg.
When can I check in online with LEAV, and do KK7xxx charters qualify?
Scheduled flights allow online check-in from 72 to four hours before departure. KK7xxx charters do not. Ask your tour operator for the correct flight booking reference if its number fails.
Do LEAV’s Germany–Syria flights use the normal airport check-in window?
No. DUS/CGN to Aleppo, Damascus or Deir ez-Zor use three to one hours before departure. The reverse uses four to one hours. The general window is two hours to 45 minutes, subject to flight notices.
Does LEAV’s 20% child discount apply to taxes and airport charges?
No. For ages 2–11 it applies to the adult flight price only, excluding air traffic tax and airport charges. Age is assessed at the start of the ticket’s last flight.
Can I book a lap-infant outbound ticket if my child turns two before the LEAV return flight?
No. The page requires a separate seat and child fare on both outbound and return flights rather than the lap-infant service fee.
How do I arrange LEAV unaccompanied travel for a child aged 5–11?
Register through the Service Centre at least 72 hours ahead. The fee is EUR 99 per child per sector, plus airfare. Bring child photo ID and guardian consent. Handover adults need photo ID, and the departing escort stays until actual departure.
Which pets can travel in LEAV’s cabin, and does 8 kg include the carrier?
Only cats and dogs, up to 8 kg including the carrier, with a 55 × 40 × 23 cm maximum. Confirm acceptance and availability for your flight because the page varies in its flight-scope wording.
Can I use a hard-shell pet carrier or let my pet out on LEAV?
No. One animal must remain in a ventilated, waterproof, bite-proof, closable carrier on the floor throughout. Hard-shell carriers are prohibited, as are animal carriers in rows 1, 12 and 13.
