Find quick answers to the most common questions about flying with Skyward Express.

Are Skyward baggage allowances the same from Nairobi Wilson and JKIA?

No. Wilson: one 15 kg checked bag and one 5 kg cabin item. JKIA: one 23 kg checked bag and one 7 kg cabin item. Check the airport on your ticket.

What baggage and stroller allowance does Skyward publish for a lap infant?

One cabin item up to 5 kg and a fully collapsible stroller. The current ticket-policy page does not specify a 10 kg checked allowance.

How and when should I request a date change on a confirmed Skyward ticket?

Email [email protected] and complete the change at least six hours before departure. Fees and any applicable higher-fare difference apply; an email alone does not confirm the change.

When should I request Skyward special assistance and arrive at check-in?

Aim to give 48 hours’ notice, request help at booking, and notify counter staff on arrival. The assistance page recommends reaching check-in at least 90 minutes before departure.

Mobility aids travel free in addition to the standard allowance. Provide dimensions, weight and battery type. Manual chairs may be checked at the counter or gate; powered chairs needing preparation must be checked at the counter.

Where must a parent bring a child using Skyward’s unaccompanied-minor service?

For ages 5–14, a parent or legal guardian accompanies the child to check-in and completes the UM form. Staff escort the child to boarding; cabin crew then take over. Ages 15–18 may opt in.
