Domestic Pets Allowed: Dogs and Cats. Other animals such as roosters, goats, goats, must be coordinated with the cargo department for their transfer, it is strictly forbidden the transfer of animals protected by the law of protection of wildlife among them (monkeys, turtles, birds, reptiles, batrachians, among others).
Conviasa considers infants from 0 to 3 years old and they are exempt from fare on National routes. On international routes, infants will obtain a 90% discount on the fare.

Find quick answers to the most common questions about flying with Conviasa.
How do I correct a misspelt name on a Conviasa booking before or after ticket purchase?
For a reservation not yet purchased, the FAQ says to cancel it and make a new reservation with the correct name; the price may change. After purchase, contact the call centre, [email protected] or [email protected] for correction, which may involve a penalty or difference. This is not a promise of ticket transferability.
Can I change a Conviasa travel date, and is a fare difference payable?
A change can be requested subject to seat availability. The FAQ states that a change penalty applies and, if the original fare is no longer available, the difference between the current and original fare must also be paid. Contact the call centre or a sales office.
Can an unused Conviasa ticket be used to change to a different route?
Before travel has started, the FAQ allows the original ticket to be used as payment toward a newly issued ticket for the desired destinations, with the applicable penalty. Arrange this through the call centre or a sales office; the page does not promise a free change or retention of the original price.
What should I do if Conviasa charges the same penalty or other fee twice?
The FAQ allows a refund request for duplicate penalties or other charges on presentation of evidence of the payments. Keep the records of both payments; a request is not itself confirmation that reimbursement has been completed.
Who should I contact if a Conviasa website purchase does not result in ticket issuance?
The FAQ directs passengers to the web-sales department at [email protected]. Explain the purchase issue and retain the booking and payment information needed to identify it.
From which date is an unused Conviasa ticket's validity calculated?
The FAQ states that a ticket issued by Conviasa is valid for one year from its issue date. This validity period does not mean every fare permits free changes or refunds.
What should I remove if Conviasa checks my cabin bag at the gate?
Limited space may require a cabin bag to be checked at the gate. The FAQ tells passengers to remove items that should remain in their care before handing it over, because it then becomes checked baggage. Keep valuables, documents, medicines and valuable electronics with you.
What should I do before leaving the airport if my Conviasa checked bag is missing or irregular?
Report it at the airline's counter before leaving the airport customs area, ask for a baggage agent and complete a Property Irregularity Report (PIR). Keep the baggage tags for subsequent tracing or claims.
How can I arrange special assistance for a Conviasa flight?
The FAQ directs passengers to 0500-CONVIASA (2668427), [email protected] or [email protected] to explain their assistance needs. That section does not specify a single advance-notice deadline.
Can I send a parcel as Conviasa passenger baggage without travelling myself?
Not as ordinary passenger baggage. The FAQ says baggage must accompany the passenger. For an unaccompanied parcel, contact the domestic or international cargo department or option 04 at 0500-CONVIASA.
