Does Widerøe Mini include a cabin suitcase or checked bag?
No. Mini includes only a 40×30×15 cm small bag. Smart, Flex and Full Flex include a 55×40×20 cm cabin bag plus a small bag, totaling at most 8 kg. Mini extras are purchasable.
Are bags automatically through-checked on separate Widerøe bookings?

Yes. At Bergen, Stavanger, Tromsø and Sandefjord, passengers arriving from abroad and continuing domestically must collect checked bags and clear customs themselves.
Who qualifies for a Widerøe Youth ticket?
It is primarily for ages 12–25, with limited availability. Enter the birth date and carry valid ID; the page warns that passengers over 18 without ID may be denied boarding.
Are Widerøe Youth Mini and Youth Smart free of change fees?
For tickets bought from March 18, 2026, both waive change fees, but higher fares still require a difference payment. Mini has only a personal item; Smart adds cabin baggage and one 23 kg checked bag.
Can a companion receive the Widerøe Senior discount?
Yes. A companion receives the same discount regardless of age. It cannot be combined with other discounts; the advertised 50% reduction applies to public-service routes.
Can I change names after Widerøe group tickets are issued?
Yes, up to one hour before departure, with NOK 600 per person after ticket issuance, unless the group offer states special conditions. This is a group-ticket rule.
Can issued Widerøe group tickets be rescheduled or refunded on cancellation?
No. The group terms prohibit date, time and destination changes after issuance and give no cancellation refund. Cancel through the supplied link; individual Youth/Senior rules do not apply.
What limits apply to a Widerøe cabin-pet carrier?
Maximum 40×25×23 cm and 8 kg including the animal. One closed container per passenger stays under the seat; exit rows are unavailable. Confirm the limited flight capacity in advance.
