How to travel around Dominican Republic by air

What to expect when flying between cities or connecting after an international arrival.

Flying between cities in Dominican Republic

  • Distinguish charters from scheduled services
The official tourism guide distinguishes charters and limited scheduled domestic services. Confirm the operator, travel date and arrival airport; a charter listing does not establish a daily scheduled flight.

Arriving from another country

  • Use the free official E-Ticket
Migration identifies eticket.migracion.gob.do as the free service portal. Prepare your passport number, flight number and accommodation address. Complete the form for your itinerary and separately verify visa and entry eligibility.
