Zipair Tokyo FAQs

Find quick answers to the most common questions about flying with Zipair Tokyo.

Can I buy extra ZIPAIR cabin weight at the airport?

No. Two items total 7 kg by default. Buy an increase to 15 kg at least 24 hours before departure; it is not sold at the airport. Oversized, excess-piece or over-15 kg baggage must be checked.

Can one ZIPAIR 30 kg checked-bag purchase cover three 10 kg bags?

No. Charges are per piece. Three 10 kg bags require three purchased pieces. Ordinary baggage is limited to five pieces, each at most 30 kg and 203 cm combined dimensions.

Can ZIPAIR check my own stroller free, and where is it returned?

Yes. Your own stroller is checked free, without a supplied protective bag. You may use it to the departure gate, but collect it at baggage claim on arrival.

When does ZIPAIR advance seat selection close?

Normally 24 hours before departure; emergency-exit and front-row seats close 48 hours before. Unselected seats are assigned at check-in. Airport changes are unavailable within 24 hours.

Can a six-year-old use ZIPAIR ZIP Full-Flat?

No. ZIP Full-Flat is available only from age seven. Children six and under use the U6 Standard arrangements.

Can an infant under two travel on ZIPAIR without a purchased seat?

No. Infants must also purchase U6 Standard. ZIPAIR provides a separate seat and a Baby Safety Seat subject to installation conditions.

How do I book a rear-facing ZIPAIR Baby Safety Seat?

For an infant under 9 kg or under one year, contact the Contact Center rather than booking online. Rear-facing installation positions are limited.

When are ZIPAIR adjacent seats free for a child and adult?

For a child six or under and one adult, select adjacent seats together. Separate selection is charged normally. Reservations cannot be accepted without available adjacent seats.

Can I add ZIPAIR Flex Biz later and receive cash if I cancel?

No. It must be bought with the initial booking and is unavailable on Seoul-bound flights. Eligible cancellation refunds take the form of future-travel vouchers under the voucher rules.

Does ZIPAIR Value include meals on every route?

No. It includes advance seating, a 30 kg checked bag and a standard meal, but meals are excluded on flights to and from South Korea. Sports equipment has separate charges.
